Katy Perry Divorce?

Russell Brand's got nothing but love for ex Katy Perry.

The 36-year-old comedian appeared on "Ellen" Thursday and revealed his feelings about the popstar.

"I still love her as a human being," Brand said, "But sometimes when you're in a relationship, I suppose it doesn't work out, does it? But that doesn't mean I regret it or anything."

"I was very happy to be married with her," Brand said of his 14-month marriage to the singer. "She's such a beautiful human being and I just have only love and positivity for her"

But should we believe him? After all, the last time Brand talked about Perry with DeGenres, he said that he was "really happily married," noting, "perpetually, until death do us part, was the pledge."

Later that month, the funny man filed for divorce.

Still, the former pair's split, which was finalized in February, was reportedly amicable -- Perry signed the divorce docs with a smiley face and Brand requested no money from his former wife, though he may have been entitled to half of what the 27-year-old singer had earned during their marriage because the pair had no prenup. The British comedian also reportedly gave Perry rights to the $6.5 million home they bought while married.

Once Katy Perry and Russell Brand‘s relationship started going sour, it took a turn for the worst..fast! In fact, it seemed like all it took was one major fight before they had filed for divorce back in January. However, there’s a new report that Russell is regretting his decision. Should he try to get her back?

A source told Grazia Daily the 37-year-old actor was “seething with jealously” after seeing pics of Katy, 27, hanging out with Robert Ackroyd from Florence and the Machine at Coachella last month.

“He apparently feels he gave up on their relationship too easily,” the source said. “It’s fair to say that Russell only wishes Katy happiness but perhaps he should have realised just how special his wife was when he was married to her rather than five months later.”

As we told you first, katy perry and Russell’s relationship started to fall to pieces in large part because of her tour, which she was on for most of their 14 month marriage. To add to it, Russell is a recovering addict who was looking for a wife, while Katy was living the life of a rock star.
